Our first place in Woolloomooloo, Sydney

We've arrived in Sydney at last! Hooorey!
Travelling business class is the way to go, no more economy for us (I wish I could be more confident about that)! Our new friends from Team Bondi (Vicky & Hami and Ben & Amy) came to collect us from the airport and take us to our first home in Sydney. Our accommodation for the first month was organised by Team Bondi and we are staying in an apartment at the Wharf in Woolloomooloo. The apartment is well furnished (if a bit brown) and has everything we need, even a utility room! Most importantly, it has a great shower and air con throughout!! On the ground level of the Wharf, there are some of the best restaurants in Sydney. So you won't be surprised to hear that we didn't cook once while we stayed at the Wharf! This is such a beautiful place in a fantastic location. There are views of the water all around (with some gorgeous yachts moored up) and it's only a ten minute walk to the Botanic Gardens or the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Every day I would walk up past the Art Gallery into the city and acquaint myself with the shops and look for somewhere more permanent to live. At the end of the day, I would walk through the gardens or the Domain and have ten minutes in the sun before heading home!
